Left Hong Kong early and caught a plane to Chengdu, Sichuan Province.

Caught a taxi to The Jindian Fandion hotel however it was closed so the taxi driver decided to crash into a rickshaw!

The police came and all these people started gawking at us and the taxi driver suggest “Holiday Inn?” so we just said “yeah whatever”.

The holiday inn was fancy and expensive!

Ate, went to the bank etc …

sooo tired!

Hey kids!

How is everyone?  We arrived in Chengdu, Sichuan Province… China today and after a bit of work we found a net cafe! Our taxi in was rough as the hotel we were meant to go to was CLOSED for repairs and our taxi driver
crashed into a rickshaw (bike taxi) and the police came.  Pretty soon were were there entertainment of the whole street.

We have now been to Nepal, Tibet, Hong Kong (and Thailand briefly!)  Our visas were sorted out in a day after a bit of questioning about the big red cancelled sign on our previous visas.  (Tanya! you only booked us 4 nights instead of 5 in Hong Kong!  Ha ha it was all fine but we got a bit of a shock when we were told we were getting kicked out!)

Tomorrow we head off into the mountains for three days of sleeping in monastaries and not bathing!  Then when we come back a lovely bus ride to see jade blue lakes!  We spent the last week rushing around Hong Kong
taking in the sites and eating more then is humanly possible!  Corey even dressed up as marylin monroe but thats a whole other story.

We both still have coughs and its probably the bird flu so here hoping we survive it long enough to infect you guys!

Love you long time
Kimberley and Corey
