(23/05/2006) Day Twelve: to Nyalam

Pretty much our last day in Tibet.
We got up from the guest house and drove a long way to Nyalam. Seemed like we had reached civilization, only really a one street town but it looked so modern.
We ate (yuck more chips), checked into a shitty guesthouse (another shared squatter).
This is our second day without a shower.
On the drive we went to our higest point (5300m) and saw the cave monastery (Milarepas cave).
Our driver (wahaha) had a spiritual moment. It was quite cool and hidden in the back of a Tibetan village on the side of a cliff.
Drivers went crazy with the polaroids again!

I danced with a little girl on the street. So cute! Polaroids for her.
The people in the hotel (guest house) in the morning tried to pay 50Y for one shot!
